Book from the National library.

This is the sequence after the 'chinese cinderalla- the true story of an unwanted daughter". The early pages surround the scene of the will-reading (her father died) and the most awaitng moment for the writer ; not to know of how much money is she gettting but to finally know if her father loves her as the rest of other sibling. But the frustration is almost predictable; the step-mother keep the whole thing to her self, and the rest stoned without a say. The answer finally came, few pages before the book ends, when Niang (step-mother) died (and of course the writer is never in the her will) and the writer found the original copy of her father's will and finally secure the feel of belonging she always seek, although later learnt a painful act of bethrayel by her big sister, Lydia.

In between, it describes the life after she left Hong Kong, pursue her studies and career in Medicine. The writer also explains an eventful descriptions of the chinese revolution, the struggle of surviving and etc. It was sad however to know that her beloved auntie, Aunt Baba were among who lived in the state of despair. The saddest moment came at the end of the chapter, when the writer sat next to her and watch her passed away in peace; it was as tearful as in the previous 'Chinese Cinderalla', when both were parted as the writer was forced to stay at a distance-orphanage convent school.

the writer once had one unhappy marriage, she finally found her true love and now happily married, having one daughter. after successfully sold this book as one of the best writer, she retire from her career as a physician and devoted her time as a writer.
