PARTS OF ALL OF US
The Simple and The Complex
The four imaginary characters depicted in this story --the mice: "Sniff" and "Scurry", and the little people: "Hem" and "Haw" -- are intended to represent the simple and the complex parts of ourselves, regardless of our age, gender, race, or nationality.
Sometimes we may act like Sniff
Who sniffs out change early, or Scurry
Who scurries into action, or Hem
Who denies and resists change as he fears it will lead to something worse, or Haw
Who learns to adapt in time when he sees changing leads to something better!
Whatever parts of us we choose to use, we all share something in common:
a need to find our way in the maze
and succeed in changing times.

One Minute Manager by Kenneth Blanchard and Spencer Johnson
>> Friday, 16 November 2007
A short story of how to turn to the so-claimed effective manager.
One upon a time there lived a man who wanted so much to learn the recipe to be a good manager. So one fine day he met the one minute manager and learned the following tips:
- one minute goal
- one minute praising
- one minute reprimand
I just love the reprimand part where need to put the conversation in silence for few seconds, while looking into the other's eyes and do the necessary expressions. I Wonder if that'll really works ;)

Think Big and Kick Ass by Donald Trump

The only note I managed to capture this while reading if somebody kick you, kick them back 15 times harder. Part of it, is the Rosie O'Donell story.
